Race Jockey N ° 6 is an original artwork realized by Serge Mendjisky in the 1970s. Mixed colored lithograph. Hand-signed by the artist on lower right. Hors Commerce print (H.C. on lower left). Good conditions except for four tears (which corresponds to the tape on the back) on the higher part. This beautiful composition represents an obstacle course of horses. Serge Mendjisky (1929-2017)was born in 1929 in Paris. Like his father, Maurice Mendjisky was a painter of the "School of Paris", Serge was introduced to the art world very early on. After his studies at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, he became an established artist, exhibiting his paintings in Europe, Japan and the United States. Even though he was a painter, he constantly used photography as preliminary studies for his paintings.
