A wonderful 19th century stipple engraving by Thomas Gauguin (1756-1831) after Joseph Barney (1753-1832). The print depicts a young boy sat on his red jacket, ready with his kite at the top of a windy cliff. The print has been carefully finished with beautiful hand colouring. Presented in a distressed white frame. Unsigned. On paper.
