About the Item
Original French poster: CORDIAL TOPAZE; Marie Brizard & Roger Bordeaux; original lithographic French 1924 antique poster. Signed but illegible signature. Size: 18" x 24".
This rare original Cordial Topaze antique poster features a patriotic Frenchman standing on a bottle of Cordial Topaze liquor while holding a small glass in one hand. Along the edge are the calendar dates of 1924. At the time of adding this to the website; this is the only document copy of this original poster that we have been able to locate.
Marie Brizard et Roger who produced this poster in 1924 is a French liquor company that was established around 1755. The company is named after the founder Marie Brizard who was born in 1714 and her nephew Jean Bapiste Roger. Otherwise, very little information is available specific to this liquor.
This CORDIAL TOPAZE is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed to preserve and protect the poster, and in good condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters.
