L’étoile du matin. Original color lithograph, 1983. Edition of 100 signed and numbered impressions on Arches paper.
Valerio Adami is an Italian artist knows for his Nouvelle Figuration movement. Adami began to incorporate various subjects into his artworks such as modern European history, literature, philosophy, and mythology. The main part of the composition lies on the left side, where you can see a woman waking up by the sound of the violin. There is a small detail, on the right side - morning star, as the name of the composition says, on the night sky. You can almost hear the peaceful melody and feel the smooth atmosphere.
