About the Item
Jean-Gabriel Domergue created this colorful vintage poster circa 1950. The poster was for Monte Carlo, where the artist lived. He rubbed elbows with high-society, organized formal balls, designed fashion accessories and was somewhat of a local celebrity. Women in his posters are always long-necked with delicate faces and depicted in rich colors. His poster style was befitting of the upper class luxuries he advertised. This size variant is rare.
This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition.
