About the Item
In 2007, Kate Shepherd, an American artist celebrated for her precise line work and bold color fields, was commissioned to design the official poster for the Roland Garros French Open. As the second female artist to receive this honor, Shepherd brought a modern, geometric touch to the series. Her design, reflecting her signature exploration of architectural forms and the interplay of line and color, captures the energy and elegance of the tournament. The first edition poster, limited to 2,000 copies, is unsigned and unnumbered.
