This 1959 serigraph on paper seascape of an Orange County harbor with sailboats entitled "Newport" is by Viennese-Southern Californian artist Dave Fox (1920-2011). Fox received his BFA, MA, and MFA from California State University, Fullerton. He was inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of Los Angeles and his work is in the permanent collections of the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museum of Art. Signed, dated, titled on bottom. Edition of 34. The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
