About the Item

Original Caribbean South America Holland America Cruises vintage poster. S.S. Rotterdam and the S.S. Statedam cruise ships. Artist: David Klein. Archivally linen-backed and ready to frame. In excellent condition. Note that his poster was printed with a shiny surface. David Klein was the notable artist that created most of TWA’s travel posters. He did create a small series for the Holland America cruise ships. This image features everything you would find on a visit to the Caribbean and South America. You have your sun with a lobster meal, colorful dancers, fruit baskets, rainbows, champagne, and tour guides. • Lotus
    By Maki Hino
    Located in New Orleans, LA

With its roots based in mud, it submerges every night into murky river water, and—undeterred by its dirty environment—it miraculously re-blooms the next morning without residue on its petals. Although cultures have their own interpretations of this daily process, there is a general consensus among ancient texts...
