About the Item
This lithograph from the portfolio "Egon Schiele" is a reproduction of " Kirche von Bozen ", an original artwork realized by Egon Schiele in 1907. The portfolio, that includes 10 lithographs on Japanese paper (various sizes) representing original artworks by Egon Schiele between 1906 and 1918, is from an edition of 600 copies, printed by Reichl & Partner, Vienna 1990 and published by Siedler Wien. Signed on plate on lower left margin. Perfect conditions.
The original "Kirche von Bozen" is a coloured chalk artwork realized by Schiele; in the center of the composition, there is the church of Bolzano with the high bell tower where Schiele visited during his first years of activity. The colors are expressionist and the architectural volumes are caracterized by bright and lively colors.
