About the Item

Antique French print of an archway with a seascape in the background by Emilie Richard Haumont (early 20th cent). Beautifully rendered piece of an idyllic seaside landscape. A warm earth-toned arch spans the piece, providing a glimpse of a cerulean blue sea and mountains in the distance. Above the archway, blue sky filters through the leaves of a tree. The colors and soft lines of this piece create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Emilie Richard Haumont was a French painter working in the late 19th and early 20th century, specializing in plein air painting. He also produced prints of his work.
