FRANCES H. GEARHART (1869 – 1958) SPRING MORNING – SEAL BEACH c. 1929 Color block print, signed in pencil. Image 8 ½” x 9 3/4”, sheet, 11 3/8 x 11 7/8”. Full margins as issued with the usual tack holes along the right edge. On Gearhart’s typical fibrous Japan paper. Two bits of old tape on upper sheet corners verso. Very slight tone to the paper. An example of this print was exhibited at the Gearhart exhibition in the Amerita Art Gallery, Washington, DC in February, 1930.
