Heran Chaban was an Armenian visual artist who worked in Paris.Armenian painter, graphic artist, illustrator (books), caricaturist (newspapers), landscape, marines. Born-1887 Erzurum (Turky ) Died-1939 Nantes (France), suicide. Came 1894 to Paris with his parents, first pupil of his father; his fathers name was Chabanian. 1911-1913. Ecole des arts decoratifs Paris.Pupil of Gustave Poreau Honorable price in 1896 Salon des Artistes Francaisand also with L'exposition Universelle de 1900 Exposition de Bruxelles 1910 Salon des artistes francais 1939 Salon des independants 1943 Landscape painter (France, Belgium, Netherlands), portrait painter.
