Vaux-le-Vicomte a Screenprint by another of Wales's most famous sons - John Piper (1903 - 1992)

Signed John Piper in pencil lower right and numbered 42 from the limited edition Screen Print of 70 lower left.
An atmospheric screen print of the seventeenth century Baroque Chateau located in Maincy, south east of Paris. It is on a large scale and a rare print to own. It is full of colour and vivacity. This is very typical of the architectural works of John Piper and is instantly recognisable as by the artist.
This print from a private collection purchased when first produced in the 70’s.
