Signed lower right, 'K. Ogata' with number and limitation, 120/275, lower left. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authentication from the Societe de Verification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale and retaining original Collector's Guild blind stamp.
Japanese painter and printmaker Kazunari Ogata attended the Fine Arts Academy in Tokyo where he won a First Prize for his painting. After graduating, Kazunari Ogata worked for several years for a Tokyo newspaper before moving to Paris to further his art career in 1961.
The recipient of numerous medals, prizes and juried awards, Ogata has exhibited widely and with success, including in France, Germany, Poland, the United States and Japan. An internationally cerlebrated print-maker, Ogata was commissioned in the early 1970's to create five original lithographs for The Collector's Guild.
