A Buffalo, New York native, Kevin O'Callahan studied at the Carnegie Institute and worked on the WPA. He is known for his Arts and Crafts period woodcuts and his later industrial scenes. Alabaster has an enchanted-land quality. It is titled and dated in pencil, with a monogram stamp in red ink.
