About the Item

Louis Lozowick: 1892-1973. Very well listed American artist set decorator. He is well known for his urban prints of NYC and other big cities. He has had auction high results for a single print of $34,000. This is a rare woodcut, as most of his prints were lithographs. This was done in 1940 and published by the WPA. It is pencil signed and titled by the artist.
