About the Item
Philadelphia born American painter, illustrator, and etcher Margaret M. Taylor Fox ( 1857 - c.1941 )
attended the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts which house a collection of her etchings that date from 1884 to 1887. In 1888 Fox also exhibited at the Union League Club's Work of Woman Etchers of America. She was also included in the world's Columbian exhibition of 1892 and 93.
She signs her work M.M. Taylor. This etching is in good condition with the top and side margins with some paper loss and one professionally repaired tear top right margin none of which affects the image.
