You really need to bring home this wonderful serigraph for your collection! A fabulous Mid-Century, ca. 1959 serigraph of Chicago's Wrigley Building in its original (and kitchy!) frame by artist Mark Coomer. Image size: 28 1/4" x 10 3/4". Framed size: 34 1/2" x 16 1/8". Edition of 100.
Mark Coomer was born in Bay City, Michigan in 1914. He lived in the suburbs of Chicago for a while and later in Arizona, while exhibiting nationally his paintings and limited editions of serigraphs. He died in 2004 in Prescott, Arizona.
Some of his serigraphs were scenes from Chicago and New York City. Among his subjects were cityscapes, skyscrapers, oil derricks, frontier towns and Mexican and Italian village scenes (Source: Askart).
