One of eight prints completed for this set based on Henry James Aspern Papers. Signed and numbered digital print from the editon of 75. Peter Milton is one of the most honored and respected printmakers in the world today. His work is in most major museums, and he continues to produce stunning and masterful prints in his 6th decade of printmaking. Since 2008 he has been a major proponent for digital printmaking.
THE ASPERN PAPERS is a classic tale by Henry James of duplicity foiled and love denied. Taking place in Venice, this is one print from a portfolio set of eight prints developed and further opened up from an earlier project, 18 drawings completed in 1990-92. One additional aspect of the present print set is include images of the Master himself, strolling, brooding, or stalking his literary prey.
The entire portfolio of prints is available for $7000. Edition of 75.

Peter Milton
Peter Milton was born in Pennsylvania, he studied at VMI and completed his BFA and MFA at Yale University under Josef Albers and Gabor Peterdi. From 1961–68, he lived in Baltimore, where he taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art. During this period he took an avid interest in printmaking. Over 50 years, he created intricate visual worlds in more than 130 prints, many of which took over a year to make. Elements of Greek mythology, classical music, art history and history coalesce in his images, which embrace the messiness, sorrow, and elation that is life. His work is in over 200 collections including; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Brooklyn Museum, New York; Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Massachusetts and the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC.

As a cultural activist/artist/printmaker, Juan Fuentes has dedicated his career to being part of a global movement for social change. His works address issues relating to local communities of color, social justice, and international struggles for liberation.
