Spring Thaw is a Hand-pulled serigraph. Spring Thaw has vibrant fall colors with melting snow creating a strong contrast as the season is changing and a small section of a stream in the foreground.. Ray Vinella ( 1933 -2019 ) immigrated to the US from Italy at a young age, he served in the Korean War and later attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. His career began with illustrations (working on Disney’s Mary Poppins film) and he later pursued his passion for art in Taos, NM. He is one of the grand old masters of Taos, having revitalized the Taos art scene along with the Taos Six. This is a limited edition print 4/215 in excellent condition. Published by Aspen Mountain Graphics.
