About the Item
This limited edition print by S. Cora Aldo depicts an impressionistic ocean view. Sand-colored tones extend from the bottom of the composition and fade to a muted blue, with strokes of white along the beginning of the shoreline. The sky is a blend of muted blues, with a large, abstracted textured clouds floating across the sky. The small white sail of a sailboat can be seen on the left-hand side, just along the horizon line.
This Limited Edition giclee print is an edition size of 195. Printed on canvas, this giclee ships framed in a warm silver floater frame wired and ready to hang. Other floater frame options are available in gold, black, white, dark walnut, oak, and white oak. For additional sizes and alternate frame options, please contact us. This print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and ships for free.
The artist granted permission to Sorelle Gallery to produce Limited Edition prints which are printed with pigment ink on a Premium Fine Art Matte Canvas, designed to meet museum longevity requirements and ensure consistency. Please allow additional time for printing prior to shipping.

S. C. Aldo graduated from Southern Connecticut University in New Haven, Connecticut with a BS in Art Education. After graduation she traveled extensively throughout the United States and to parts of South America. In 2007 she received a Masters in Art from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Aldo has been creating paintings for over 30 years along with being an entrepreneur.
"My paintings are inspired by the complexity of light and hues of the ocean,” Aldo says. “I paint to evoke strong moods, from tranquility to hopefulness. These scenes can be emotive for the viewer with strong contrasts between pessimistic shadows and positive luminescence. I like how these forces of nature play against one another and remind us how we really have little control in our everyday lives."
Her paintings are part of private collections throughout the world.
