About Shepard Fairey & the We the People Campaign
Shepard Fairey (b. 1970) is a renowned urban artist, graphic designer, and activist who first gained attention with the Andre the Giant Has a Posse and OBEY campaigns, and later became famous for the Obama “Hope” poster. His work is held in institutions such as MoMA, the Smithsonian, and LACMA.
The We the People series, commissioned by the Amplifier Foundation, was created to counter fear with inclusion and resistance through art. Fairey collaborated with fellow artists Ernesto Yerena and Jessica Sabogal to craft this message of inclusivity.

Each very well-preserved.

Dimensions ranging from: 19.5 x 16 inches to 24x36 inches.
Each work is hand-signed; works are either numbered from their respective main editions or notated 'AP' (see last listing image); a few or several works are signed, but not numbered.
Excellent overall condition with the exception of perhaps some minor signs of handling on a few examples.
Provenance: Private collection New York via Shepard Fairey.
