Original vintage poster Cruwell-Tabak. Archival linen backed in very good condition and ready to frame. Cruwell tobacco company was founded in 1753 in Bielefeld, Germany. Note: In 1705 Johann Georg Crüwell was officially listed as a smoking tobacco manufacturer for the first time. The architectural vibes from this 1940s showpiece of the Brothers Cruwell tobacco house, as it appeared in 1530. Gebruder Cruwell-Tabak (Brothers Cruwell Tobacco) was a German tobacco company located in Bielefeld, Germany, from 1705 to 1983. Johann Georg Cruwell founded the company, which developed into one of Europe's leading smoking tobacco factories.     Original vintage poster: ALITALIA DC 8 aircraft. Early 60''s travel poster. Very Good condition. Linen backed. Features a DC-8 flying over the top of the figure 8. The top opening of the 8 has the North American and South American continents. The lower opening of the 8 has Europe, Asia, and Africa. Very good condition, near mint. Original "ALITALIA DC JET - DC-8" poster, designed by an anonymous artist, and printed by BODONIANA, BOLOGNA circa 1960. Douglas announced the go-ahead of its DC-8 design on June 7, 1955, and development costs were estimated at $450 million. The aircraft was to be powered by four JT3L engines rated at 11,000lbs thrust. The range was quoted as at least 3,700 miles with 125 passengers. The DC-8 was the first Douglas jet-powered transport. It entered service simultaneously with United Airlines and Delta Air Lines...
