ABOUT THIS PIECE: Musk of the Rose Blown is about the intimate relationships that abound amidst the natural world. Inspiration for this painting stemmed from my many walks along forest trails and finding tiny insects and other creatures clinging and/or climbing on flowers and plants. I imagined a night scene under crisp lighting where the silence was deafening and seductive.

Interested in the transformative possibilities of familiar iconic images, Dennis explores the charged subjects of beauty, pleasure, and power.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

Surrounding the colorful and whimsical bouquets and garlands is a border of complimentary colors rife with kaleidoscopic floral images to further entice the eye. Influences of Persian miniatures and French Baroque are prevalent, as well as traditional floral painting which was used to document nature’s beauty.
