Original vintage Batman cartoon poster featuring a colourful illustration of the famous young comic book superhero sidekick Robin wearing his iconic Robin Hood inspired red and green costume with a black and yellow R badge on it, green gloves and boots and yellow cape, removing his black eye mask and shouting "Hold it Batman! It really is me -- your ward -- Dick Grayson!" with the title below: Robin The Boy Wonder. Artwork by the notable American comics artist Carmine Michael Infantino (1925-2013). The iconic and popular superhero characters Batman and Robin (Richard John "Dick" Grayson) were created by Bob Kane (artist) and Bill Finger (writer) and redesigned by Carmine Infantino under the directorship of the comic book editor Julius Schwartz in 1964 for the launch of the Batman television series in 1966; Batman and Robin first appeared in issue 38 of Detective Comics in 1940 published by DC Comics and they continue to appear in radio and TV shows, movies and games. Printed by G & F Posters NYC official licensees Copyright National Periodical Publications Inc 1966. Very good condition, small tear on bottom margin, staining and creasing on top left margin.
