About the Item

Original vintage advertising poster for the Olivetti Graphika typewriter model featuring a great mid-century graphic design depicting letters of the alphabet on typewriter keys in yellow, white, blue and red circles and lines set over a black background above a photograph of a new Olivetti typewriter. The Italian company Olivetti (founded 1908) produced type-writers, calculators and computers; the company employed the best commercial artists and graphic designers to create posters for their marketing campaigns. Design by Giovanni Pintori (1912-1999) an Italian graphic designer known mostly for his advertising work with Olivetti. Printed in Italy. N. Moneta Milano Roma. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining.
