This piece is a rare trial proof created by Henry Moore in 1950. It is from a portfolio entitled Promethee, which contained lithographic illustrations by Moore, which was published in an edition of 183 copies on velin du Marais. This piece is a unique trail proof and is hand signed by the artist. The sheet measures 15.25 x 11.25 inches, the image measures 12.5 x 8.75 inches and the framed dimensions are (will go in house and measure.) It was published by Henri Jonquieres PA Nicaise and printed by Mourlot Freres, Paris. The piece i referenced as number 31 of "Henry Moore: The Graphic Work 1931-1972" edited by Gerald Cramer, 1973.
