Original vintage movie poster for the French release of the 1951 film about the Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber training and air raids on Japan during WWII - The Wild Blue Yonder / Tonnerre Sur Le Pacifique - directed by Allan Dwan and starring Wendell Corey, Vera Ralston, Forrest Tucker and Phil Harris. Dynamic illustration featuring the new American bomber plane flying in front of searchlights against the blue sky background with images of pilots stepping over a raging fire and a plane on fire against the black background below, the title text in bold white letters running diagonally across the red and yellow flames. Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored paper losses, restored creases, backed on linen.
