Original antique Polish railway travel poster for Warsaw - Warszawa Chemins de Fer de l'Etat Polonais - featuring a stunning view by the Polish born artist Juliusz Stefan Norblin de la Gourdaine (1892-1952) of the historic city buildings rising up on the hill against a yellow shaded sky with trees between the cottage houses by the water, a sailing boat and moored rowing boat on the Vistula River reflecting the scenery behind the stylised title lettering. Published by the Ministry of Communications. Printed by Polish library in Bydgoszcz. Fair condition, several restored paper losses on edges, large restored tears on the image, restored pinholes, staining, backed on linen.

Each screen print measures 26 x 21 inches. Each screen print is hand signed, dated, numbered by Robert Indiana. Roman numeral edition XLII/L (there were also a main edition of 200 and 50 artist's proofs), Artwork is in excellent condition. Certificate of Authenticity included.
