Original vintage travel advertising poster published by the Italian Tourism Board ENIT to promote the historical city of Vicenza in the Veneto region of north eastern Italy featuring a scenic view by the painter Tullio Silvestri (1880-1963) of the Piazza dei Signori square in the centre of Vicenza with the renaissance period Basilica Palladiana - designed by the Italian architect Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) and renowned for its loggia as being one of the first example of Palladian windows - and the historic Torre della Bissara clock tower dominating the view, a couple dressed in period costume standing on a balcony in the foreground and the Vicenza (Italia) (Venezia) text in stylised blue letters with the ENIT logo below. Printed in Italy. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, ink stamp, backed on linen.
