Original vintage car advertising poster - En Helt Ny Oldsmobile General Motors Fabrikat / A Brand New Oldsmobile - featuring a colourful Art Deco design depicting two couples in an elegant new classic car driving at speed with a striking background shown in shades of orange as stylised modern city buildings and skyscrapers resembling a set from the Fritz Lang film Metropolis with the text in white on the blue sky above, logo on the side and the company text below. The four door sedan car depicted is most likely the 1928 Oldsmobile 6 / Model F-28. Founded in 1897 Oldsmobiles (officially Olds automobiles) were originally manufactured by the Olds Motor Vehicle Company; the company was acquired by General Motors when it was founded in 1908. Fair condition, restored tears, restored paper losses, restored folds, staining, backed on linen.
