Original vintage Guinness advertising poster - Daily Guinness - featuring a smiling lady wearing a striped blue dress reading the Lunch Edition of the Daily Guinness newspaper and holding a glass of the Irish stout beer Guinness, the articles all featuring news items relating to the drink including the excavation of hand-made Guinness Stout bottles from a shipwreck off Barwon Heads that sunk in 1869 and information on a Chinese custom of putting a bottle of Guinness in the first bath of a new born baby. One of the world's most popular beer drink brands, Guinness is an Irish dry stout founded by Arthur Guinness in Dublin in 1759. Signed EH in the bottom right corner. Large size. Good condition, restored creasing, restored tears, small restored paper loss in top left corner, backed on linen.
