Original vintage travel poster issued by the Spanish national tourist board Patronato Nacional del Turismo PNT for the ancient mountain area in north west Spain - The Asturias its landscapes and its monuments / Asturias sus paisajes y sus monumentos - featuring scenic artwork of the 19th century Basilica de Santa Maria la Real de Covadonga / Basilica of Saint Mary the Royal of Covadonga sanctuary dedicated to Our Lady of Covadonga (Cuadonga) and commemorating the 718-722 Battle of Covadonga, dramatically located at the top of the hill with cattle and a classic car driving on a winding road by an old bridge over the river below, the PNT text above and the PNT logo and bold title text at the bottom. Good condition, staining, creasing, small tears, paper loss in bottom left corner.
