St Paul’s Cathedral is depicted surrounded by searchlights as enemy bombers are sought during the Blitz. Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament are also clearly visible, as the skyline of London is depicted. The poster was intended for display throughout the Empire, with space for overprinting the country’s name.
