About the Item
Lovers is a superb and original colored lithograph from the portfolio "Erotica" by Egon Schiele.
It deals with a reproduction of the homonym artwork realized in gouache, watercolor, and pencil by the Austrian artist in 1913. Edition of 1200 copies, printed by Marinoni-Voirin, and published by Editions Anthèse, Paris, 2007.
In perfect conditions: as good as new.
Today, the original drawing is preserved in a private collection.
This wonderful plate is signed on plate on the lower right margin (signature and year of creation in a cartouche), and titled on plate on the lower left in a cartouche as well.
Erotica is a portfolio including 20 lithographs on cardboard, representing original erotic drawings realized by the Austrian master between 1910-1918.
