Before becoming an Oscar winning actor, Anthony Quinn had been a prizefighter and a painter. Between takes on location and films he drew, painted, and sculpted. Some of Quinn's best sculpture were created in Africa filming the 1970's and 1980's while Quinn was working on a film. Quinn was also a student and friend of Frank Lloyd Wright.
