This very large advertisement poster, designed by Anthony Russell Inc., was created to promote the Masterpiece Theatre series Love for Lydia. Based on H.E. Bates' 1952 novel, the series follows the emotional journey of Lydia Aspen, a young heiress, and Edward Richardson, a journalist, as they navigate love and heartbreak in pre-Depression England. Russell’s design captures the series' period charm, making the poster a unique collectible tied to classic British drama on public television.
