Pino Daeni(1939 - 2010): Better known by simply Pino, he created some of the most influential art of the twentieth century. His first grade teacher noticed his talent and urged his parents to have him further pursue art. In the absence of family support, Pino taught himself art during and later enrolled in Milan at the Academy of Brera. Once in the United Sates, his work became a hit almost immediately. Soon after, a number of other publishing houses followed suite and Pino became the pre-eminent cover illustrator for Romance novels. Pino's art is credited for helping to create the massive success of famous romance novelists including Danielle Steele, Sylvie Summerfield, and Amanda Ashley. His fine art paintings became a monumental success in the United States and throughout the world.
