GANGSTERS by the woman artist Robin Morris, is an original limited edition lithograph printed in 15 colors using hand lithography techniques on archival Arches paper, 100% acid free. GANGSTERS is a modern graphic color portrait depicting two men dressed in vintage 1940's style detective overcoats and classic fedoras, both standing with hands in pocket, peering suspiciously from behind their black sunglasses. The mood is set by a midnight blue evening sky in the background and row of gray high-rise city buildings whose windows glow a pale yellow. Ms. Morris utilizes her characteristic Art Deco stylized drawing in creating a modern portrait comprised of simple shaped elements and bold colors evoking a comic strip style scene for the two mysterious "gangster" characters.
