Herbert Henry Asquith, 1st Earl of Oxford and Asquith, KG, PC, KC, FRS (1852 – 1928), generally known as H. H. Asquith, was a British politician and statesman who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1908 to 1916. Norman Hirst was an early 20th century English printmaker who worked in mezzotint. 585mm by 350mm (platemark) 770mm by 570mm (sheet).
