An indigenous, diligent, hybrid lino printmaker and Multi-talented Artist. Tosin Oyeniyi was born in the late 1980s' in Nigeria where he observed his basic and elementary education, and his tertiary education. Tosin's adverse research, study, practice, discovery, and exploration helps in exposing him to many art ideologies and renditions in the field of career he has chosen that lead him into the adoption of his print-making style from LINOCUT as a graphic specialist he was in his university days. Being an indigenous artist with traditional background blended with modern exposure, Most of his works are coined from nature, philosophy of life, day-to-day activities, history, occurrence, experience, and imagination.

This is an original 19th century hand-colored folio size McKenney and Hall engraving of a Native American entitled "Apauly-Tustennuggee, A Creek Chief" after a painting by Charles Bird King from McKenney and Hall's "History of the Indian Tribes of North America", published in Philadelphia by Daniel Rice and James G. Clark in 1843. McKenney described him as “a chief and a warrior...a firm, brave man - and of good sense.”
This original McKenney and Hall large hand-colored folio-size engraving measures 20" high and 14" wide. The print is in excellent condition.

This is an original 19th century hand-colored McKenney and Hall engraving of a Native American entitled "Tuko-See-Mathla, A Seminole Chief, No. 106", published by Rice, Rutter & Co. in 1865.
This original McKenney and Hall engraving is presented in a cream colored mat, suitable for framing with a protective clear sleeve. The mat measures 13.88" x 11.75" and the sheet measures 10.63" x 7.38. There is minimal spotting in the periphery, but the print is otherwise in very good condition.
