Original U. S. 1 sheet, DOWN TEXAS WAY vintage movie poster. Starring the Rough Riders, Buck Jones, Tim McCoy AND Raymond Hatton, Luna Walters, Dave O'Brien, and Silver. Archival acid-free linen backed in very good condition with slight darkening on the 1942 fold marks, ready to frame. Original theater issue fold marks touched up during linen backing. (0ur watermark does not appear on your poster.) The Rough Riders were an cowboy trio consisting of Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton who starred in many Monogram "Rough Rider" films including Arizona Bound, Forbidden Trails, and Riders of the West. (Earliest Rough Riders: The most famous of all the units fighting in Cuba, the "Rough Riders" was the name given to the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry under the leadership of Theodore Roosevelt. ) This is a genuine 27" x 41" U.S. one-sheet ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display.
