Linen-backed original “ Suddenly Last Summer “ vintage movie poster. Excellent condition with restored original fold marks as issued during conservation linen-backing. NSS 60/4. (Linen-backing is highly recommended for old, folded American woodpulp posters.)
Starring: Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn, Montgomery Clift, Albert Dekker, Mercedes McCambridge, Gary Raymond.
• This is a vintage movie poster for the film "Suddenly, Last Summer", an adaptation of a play by Tennessee Williams. The poster is visually divided: the left side is predominantly black, featuring the film's title and credits, while the right side is white, showcasing striking pink text. It includes three small headshots of the film’s main stars: Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn, and Montgomery Clift.

A wealthy harridan, Violet Venable, attempts to bribe Dr. Cukrowicz, a young psycho-surgeon from a New Orleans mental hospital desperately in need of funds, into lobotomizing her niece, Catherine Holly. Violet wants the operation performed to prevent Catherine from defiling the memory of her son, the poet Sebastian. Catherine has been babbling obscenely about Sebastian's mysterious death, which she witnessed while they were on holiday together in Spain the previous summer.
