Every Year The Salmon Come Back, 1983. Serigraph, 65/99 In reference to the work, Robert Davidson says: "A narrative painting originating from personal experience of the Yakun River salmon harvest, Queen Charlotte Islands. A cyclical metaphor. When the salmon come back, they generate and influence my lifecycle at that time I'm at the river fishing with everybody else. They come back to give birth and also to die and from death comes new life." This was a limited edition of 99 silkscreen prints with 10 artisit proofs retained by the artist. The edition was printed on Velin Arches Decal edge paper, measuring 30" H. x 42" W. This is one of the largest format prints to be produced by Robert Davidson. Appearing in excellent original condition. All prints signed and numbered by Robert Davidson and printed under his supervision by Screencraft Enterprises Ltd. of Vancouver BC. Available framed. Measuring 43" H. x 58" W.
