About the Item
This original serigraph poster was designed for an in-store advertising campaign and printed in 1982. It is part of an unnumbered edition featuring collage-style images intended for in-store display of Halston's clothing and accessory fashion line. Halston, a prominent fashion designer and member of Warhol's inner circle, commissioned these posters.
Printed by Rupert Jasen Smith in New York at his own studio, separate from Warhol's 'Factory', these posters are from the private collection of an individual who was once Halston's assistant and worked closely with him. She was gifted a full set immediately after the campaign's release, highlighting their historical and collectible value within the realm of fashion and pop art.
