This special limited edition photo arrangement titled "Rainbow Donuts" by Candice CMC features a heart-shaped image of a rainbow created by a arranging of her photographs of donuts. This special limited edition artwork is limited to only 25 prints, It is the perfect work of art for couples in love, especially as Valentine's Day is just around the corner. It is printed on 100% rag paper by Candice CMC. The art is signed on the bottom front by Candice CMC and also signed and numbered on the back. A signed certificate of authenticity is included. Image size measures 26x26". Framed size approx. 34x34"
The Photographic arrangements of Candice CMC receive an immediate response on the part of the viewer. The work consists of hundreds of sharp-focus photographic images of donuts. Candice CMC uses the the donuts as her palette, as if she were creating the portrait with oil paints. Candice first photographs the donuts and then studies the characteristics of each so that she can arrange them according to their tones, colors, values and intensity to create the iconic portrait. She chooses the correct placement of just the right donut for each area of the artwork. The art was created to appear as a pop art image of hundreds of random donuts and when viewed through your camera or from a distance, you see the iconic realistic portrait appear.
By photographing hundreds of enticing donuts in varying flavors and colors and using them as her palette, Candice has created iconic portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Einstein, Alfred E. Neuman, Van Gogh, and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, among others. By composing these complex portraits, Candice is forging a unique style of photography and creating unique, one of a kind, works of art.
Candice CMC's work has been featured in prestigious Art Fairs in Miami, New York, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Santa Fe and San Francisco as well as many distinguished galleries worldwide. This past winter she had her first museum exhibition in Florida. Her unique art hangs in numerous corporate and private collections.
