About the Item
This black and white lithograph uses varying line weight to add the illusion of grayscale in the work. The artist explores perspective in the height of the table, stretching the top towards the viewer's eye. The tablecloth has an intricate circle pattern that takes up most of the space. In the background, the windows look out onto abstract landscapes, with bodies of water and rolling hills. The horizon is very active. Despite its youthfulness, this is the work of a mature artist. This piece, sold unframed, is signed in the front by the artist's hand.

He led the Art Department at University at Albany, NY, thus influencing scores of artists who’ve gone on to recognition. Callner died in 2007, but his work remains in public and private collections from Israel to the United States.
