Eight 18th century-era fashion plates from the portfolio Modes, by Madeleine Connat.
Paris: Paris Etching Society, 1951. Each an engraving with hand coloring in watercolor on cream wove paper, each 9 3/8 x 6 5/8 inches (217 x 167 mm) (sheet), each with full margins. Each in excellent condition with fresh color. Published by the Paris Etching Society and Camilla Lucas, printed 1951. Ex-collection Phyllis Lucas Gallery and the Estate of Michael Lucas, New York. A wonderful decorative group for framing.
