Walfrido (Walfrido Garcia). "Angelic Light" signed numbered in pencil
Walfrido, born in the Philippines in 1966, son of acclaimed artist, Edgardo F. Garcia, was raised in California where surfing and his father's tutelage translated into painting coastal scenes alive with light. At only 23 he was signed to be a featured artist at Wyland Galleries joining James Coleman, William Deshazo, Gregg Hamby and David Wight. Since then, his career has flourished bringing him a global audience and countless fans.
Tropical Artist Walfrido's seascape artwork captures the beauty and raw essence of the natural world, particularly the serene crystal clear waters of Hawaii, using a painting style called "Romantic Luminism".
