About the Item
Hours – Lithograph from The Situationist Times (6th Edition, 1967)
This work, titled Hours, is one of 33 original first-edition lithographs created in four colors for the final and 6th edition of The Situationist Times: International Parisian Edition. Published in the spring and autumn of 1967, this landmark issue was a culmination of avant-garde artistic and theoretical contributions from key figures of the CoBrA and Figuration Narrative movements, who made up the majority of the contributors.
As the last issue of The Situationist Times, this edition is celebrated for its radical fusion of art, theory, and visual experimentation, embodying the revolutionary spirit of the Situationist movement. Each lithograph, including Hours, reflects the collaborative energy and interdisciplinary approach that defined this influential publication.
